DanceTide · Splash Radius Corp
Privacy Policy
Effective September 21, 2026 · Last updated September 21, 2026
Who we are and what this covers
DanceTide is operated by Splash Radius Corp (“we”, “us”). DanceTide support is our privacy contact at support@dancetide.com. This policy covers dancetide.com, “Talk to us” enquiries, demo access requests, related correspondence, and our use of Meta tools to manage our own advertising. It applies to visitors in Canada, the United States, Mexico and elsewhere.
This website currently collects interest from studio owners, teachers, coaches, administrators and other adults connected to a studio. It is not a student records service. Any future studio platform features that introduce different data practices will have updated notices before those practices begin.
Information we collect
- “Talk to us” enquiries: name, email address, studio name, optional studio role, city or region, student-count range, and the message you choose to provide.
- Demo access requests: name, email address, studio name, optional studio role, and source/campaign tags in the link you used. We also record the referring page and your IP address, and include them in an internal notification email to DanceTide staff.
- Enquiry records: submission date, a submission identifier, correspondence, and source/campaign tags in the link you used to reach us.
- Technical information: our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser/device information, requested URLs, timestamps and error logs to deliver and protect the website.
- Advertising administration: when an authorized administrator connects our Meta app, we may access permitted account/profile identifiers, Page and Instagram identities, ad-account details, campaign settings, creative assets and performance reports. Access tokens are used to authenticate those requests.
We receive information directly from you, through website requests, and from Meta when an authorized administrator grants access. Please do not send student names, attendance records, health information, payment-card details or private family information.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to respond, send demo access links, understand studio needs and maintain relevant correspondence. Campaign tags help us understand which ads generate enquiries. Unless you opt out in Analytics preferences, PostHog receives page paths, supported campaign tags, an optional role category on submission, random browser/session identifiers and events indicating a form start, successful submission or failed submission. We use these to understand how visitors use our forms; we do not send names, contact details or free-text form answers to PostHog. Technical information supports operation, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. Meta account information is used to create, manage and measure advertising for our own brands.
Submitting the form permits us to respond about your request; it does not subscribe you to an unrelated newsletter. You may ask us to stop following up at any time. Optional marketing communications require any consent applicable law requires.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Airtable to receive and manage enquiries and demo requests, PostHog for analytics and masked session replay (opt-out available), and hosting, infrastructure and email providers to operate the site, respond to you, send demo access links and send internal notifications to DanceTide staff. Information is made available to people and providers who need it for those purposes. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to protect rights, security or prevent fraud, subject to applicable law.
Meta processes activity on Facebook and Instagram under its own privacy policies. Our website forms send enquiries and demo requests to Airtable; it does not send your form answers to Meta. We do not sell your personal information, upload enquiry lists as advertising audiences, or share enquiry information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and advertising measurement
The current site does not use a Meta Pixel or advertising cookies to track you across websites. It reads campaign tags from the page URL when you submit the form. Unless you opt out, campaign tags are also retained in session storage across navigation, expiring after 30 minutes without attribution activity. We use PostHog to measure visits and record anonymised sessions with form inputs masked. Use “Analytics preferences” at the bottom of the page to opt out at any time. Global Privacy Control keeps analytics off automatically; we do not honor Do Not Track, since it is not a legally recognized opt-out signal. Your opt-out choice is stored locally until you change it; analytics identifiers use browser session storage. Automatic click capture and identified user profiles remain disabled. Hosting providers may use essential security technologies. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising; where applicable, we respect legally recognized opt-out preference signals.
Declining analytics does not prevent submitting the form. Anonymous-looking identifiers can still constitute personal information. PostHog processes permitted analytics in the region selected for our project; our initial configuration uses the United States. We will update this notice and the available choices before introducing additional advertising tracking.
International processing, security and retention
Our providers may process information in Canada, the United States or other countries where they operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws, and information may be accessible to authorities under applicable law. Contact us for information about our providers and cross-border processing.
We use access restrictions and keep integration credentials on the server or in restricted administration environments. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including responding to enquiries, providing demo access, security, and applicable legal requirements. Retention depends on whether correspondence is ongoing and whether a legal obligation or dispute requires preservation. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Backups and provider logs may persist until their ordinary retention cycles expire; legally required records may be retained with restricted use.
Your choices and regional rights
Contact support@dancetide.com to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or to object to or limit processing. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity or a representative’s authority. We respond within the time required by applicable law, explain any permitted refusal or extension, and do not retaliate for exercising privacy rights.
- Canada: applicable federal and provincial laws may provide access, correction, consent withdrawal and complaint rights. You may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your relevant provincial authority.
- United States: depending on your state and whether its law applies, rights may include access/knowledge, correction, deletion, portability, opting out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and appeal of a denied request. California residents may have additional rights concerning sensitive information. We do not use enquiry information for consequential automated decisions or intentionally collect sensitive personal information. To appeal a decision, reply with “Privacy appeal”; you may also contact your state regulator.
- Mexico: where applicable, you may exercise rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition (ARCO), revoke consent, and limit use or disclosure. Email our privacy contact with the right you wish to exercise and enough information to locate your record. You may submit a request in Spanish or English.
These descriptions do not limit any mandatory rights and do not imply every regional law applies to this service. See the data-deletion instructions below for practical steps.
Children
The website, the demo access form and the “Talk to us” form are intended for adults managing studios, not children. We do not knowingly solicit children’s personal information. If you believe a child’s information has been provided, contact us so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
Changes and contact
We will post revisions here and update the date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required before using information for a new purpose. Questions or complaints can be sent to DanceTide support, Splash Radius Corp, at support@dancetide.com.
Data-deletion instructions
Request deletion
Email support@dancetide.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Include the email address you used to contact DanceTide and, if helpful, your studio name. Preferably send the request from that address.
For information associated with Splash Radius Corp’s Meta app, also identify the relevant Facebook Page, Instagram account, business asset or app connection, if known. Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment details or unnecessary identity documents.
What happens next
We will acknowledge your request, verify identity or authority where necessary, and identify the information within our control. We will delete applicable enquiry records, related correspondence and connected-app information unless a lawful retention exception applies. We will coordinate deletion with relevant service providers where required.
We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any verification requirement, refusal, extension or records that must be retained. Provider backups may remain until their normal expiry and are not used for active marketing. Removing information from our systems does not delete records held independently by Meta or delete your Facebook or Instagram account.
Disconnecting Meta access
If you authorized our app, you can remove its access in your Facebook settings under Business integrations or Apps and websites, depending on how it was connected. An administrator can also revoke business asset permissions or tokens in Meta Business Settings. Revoking access stops future authorized access; email us as well to request deletion of information already held.
The public DanceTide enquiry form does not require Facebook Login. If you only submitted that form, there is no Meta app connection you need to remove.
Other requests
You may use the same contact for access, correction, consent withdrawal, an objection, or an appeal. Requests may be made in English or Spanish. DanceTide support handles privacy requests for Splash Radius Corp, the operator of DanceTide.
